For almost five decades, we’ve designed and constructed pools not only in Bournemouth, but also Swanage, Ringwood, Poole, Sandbanks, Christchurch and Channel Islands. Our Legacy
A Family Legacy of Excellence
JHS Pools started as James Hunter and Sons Pools in 1972, founded by Jim Hunter Snr. Our company is built on traditional family values, with a commitment to quality craftsmanship that has been passed down through the generations. Jim Snr’s legacy lives on through his sons, Jim Jnr, and now, the next generation, led by Ross Hunter. In 2020, Ross took over the business after the sad passing of Jim Jnr (Jimmy) Hunter, who was known for his impeccable standards, work ethic, and unparalleled skill. Jimmy’s legacy continues to inspire everything we do at JHS Pools.
Ross, along with business partner Will Johnson, has continued to grow the business while maintaining the high standards established by his father and grandfather. Will brings specialised skills in swimming pool maintenance, repair, renovation, and plant room management, ensuring JHS Pools remains a leader in the industry.
